CONNECT’s President and COO, Patti Flaherty has set up a new home in Hamilton and visited the CONNECT Hamilton site as one of her first orders of business.

Patti toured the site with a team, including project architect David Premi from DPAI. The site is a sea of green since the first floor was framed in. Now the second floor is underway.

Originally hailing from Hamilton, Patti says she considers this move a bit of a homecoming. It’s also a leap of faith to be present and hand’s-on to prepare for CONNECT Hamilton’s 2019 opening.

“It was hard to leave my home in Vancouver, but I am really happy to be here in Hamilton and so close to this very important project for CONNECT,” says Patti. “We have an amazing team in Hamilton Health Sciences and we want to deliver everything we promised to the LHIN and the people in Hamilton living with acquired brain injury and stroke.”
