John shared how humbling it is to see so many talented, caring people who have dedicated a big chunk of their lives to CONNECT and to making a difference in the lives of residents.

“To our residents, you make us proud every day with your strength and resilience. Thank you for sharing your journeys with us.”

The live band providing entertainment throughout the celebration featured CONNECT Life Redesign Coaches TJ Mendoza and Ian Mayuga.

Resident Cory and mother of a resident, Kathy, toasted CONNECT and cut the cake.

“Some people say it takes a village to raise a child, but it is what is in that village that matters the most,” said Kathy. “It’s the people. they care for each other, look out for each other, love each other. That is what makes a village a community.”
