The foundation of our building is being poured and you can finally start to imagine what it will look like with a building constructed above ground. Some of the foundation walls are up and we are starting to see real progress.
Our site in Stoney Creek has been buzzing with activity and even copious amounts of snow in February didn’t scare our construction crew away.
Patti Flaherty, President and COO of CONNECT, has attended a few conferences in Ontario to meet new people in our field, be reacquainted with long-time colleagues and friends and to get the lay of the land. She will continue to make connections, learn about the Ontraio system and offer opportunities for those who are interested to learn more about the Life Redesign Model and our vision for being a part of the ABI and stroke community in Ontario.
We are also working on timelines to start searching for the amazing people who will become our CONNECT Hamilton staff. The first person to be hired will be our Site Leader.
This project is feeling more real and exciting with each passing week.
